One of the ways we worship is to honor God with the best of our lives and livelihood. Because He continues to do so much in our lives – both seen and unseen, giving back to God through tithing (a tenth of our income) and offerings (generosity over and above our tenth) is a powerful expression of our thanks… seen and blessed by God. After all, He is the source of all our resource.

For some, giving is hard because we think that when money leaves our hand it leaves our life. But money is seed. When you sow it into God's House and His Kingdom, it cannot help but multiply. It's really the best investment you can make. He promises 30 times, 60 times and even 100 times return. But even if He didn't – it would be worth it just to honor Him because it's more blessed to give than receive.

"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground. Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field. All nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty." Malachi 3:10-12
